Off-road addicts count themselves lucky when the opportunity to get out and enjoy a great trail ride with friends comes along. When we can do that for a few days straight, most of us consider it to be one of life’s epic scenarios. Now, imagine doing that with some of your best riding buddies every year, for 30 years. Straight. Without missing a single year. I said 30 years. The annual Nevada 200 Trail Ride is put on by two off-road living legends who have done just that. Casey Folks (Best in the Desert) and Scot Harden (Harden Off-Road) have been riding this ride together for more consecutive years than most marriages last. And rumor has it the quality of their ride is nothing short of blissful. What’s their secret? Even while Folks was busy promoting some of the most well-known desert races in the west and Harden was competing across an impressive off-road motorcycle and rally racing career, the two never missed a Nevada 200 ride and, by the looks of it, don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.
